Welcome to 香满饭店, or Kedai Makanan Sian Man, a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Masai, Johor Darul Ta'zim. This charming restaurant serves up a delightful blend of Chinese and Malaysian cuisine that embodies the rich culinary traditions of the region. With a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, it has become a beloved spot for both locals and travelers alike.

The star of the menu is undoubtedly the wide array of fried rice options that cater to all palate preferences. The Nasi Goreng Ikan Billis, infused with fragrant anchovies and aromatic spices, provides a savory delight at just MYR 13.80. For seafood lovers, the classic Nasi Goreng Seafood is a must-try—wok-fried and loaded with fresh veggies and seafood for MYR 20.00. And don’t overlook the ever-popular Nasi Goreng Kampung, a beloved Malay-style fried rice that makes comfort food feel extraordinary.

But there's more to explore on this diverse menu. The Sweet & Sour Pork at MYR 37.50 is indulgently topped with tangy gravy, delightful pineapple chunks, and perfectly sautéed vegetables that awaken your taste buds. For a dish that’s both rich and savory, the Ayam Telur Masin—crispy fried chicken coated in a delectable salted egg sauce—is sure to leave you craving more, also priced at MYR 37.50. For those looking to indulge, the Udang Butter showcases prawns cooked to perfection in a luscious curry with tomatoes, which is a symphony of flavors for MYR 68.80.

The dining atmosphere of 香满饭店 is casual yet vibrant, adorned with traditional decor that hints at its long history and popularity. Family-owned and operated for over two decades, the restaurant radiates warmth and hospitality. As one customer, kunjeeboi Gomez, expressed: "The owners are friendly and attentive. Their siakap Masak pedas is also highly recommended!" The tight-knit ambiance makes it an inviting spot for family gatherings or friendly catch-ups over hearty meals.

Don't miss the chance to savor their refreshing Liang Teh—a herbal tea that is cold and invigorating, complementing the richness of the dishes beautifully. It's no wonder family business vibes keep patrons coming back for more, as highlighted by Bro Vs Sis Chan, who notes, "Nice...not only for dishes order, also got mix rice." Budget-friendly and delicious, a complete meal here won't break your wallet, with meal combinations starting around RM 53.

香满饭店 promises an authentic dining experience that reflects the cultural tapestry of Johor. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, stopping by this restaurant guarantees a feast of flavors and a true taste of Malaysian hospitality. We have been coming to this place for about 20 years... Maybe more. The owners are friendly and attentive. I especially love their fried chicken chunks. Their siakap Masak pedas is also highly recommended! Actually, many of their dishes taste great, depending on what you would like to eat, of course. Beer is available as is economy rice. Be sure to try their Liang teh or herbal tea cold. It is really good.
